|

to offer IT-based governance solutions that work for all stakeholders. Our eGovernance
solutions promote efficiency, transparency and policy effectiveness, enabling “smart
governance” in areas that matter most to citizens and consumers.
The primary delivery models of e-Government can be divided into:
Government-to-Citizen or Government-to-Consumer (G2C)
In this model, the G2C model applies the strategy of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) with business concept.
By managing their customer (citizen) relationship, the business (government) can provide the needed products and services fulfill the needs of customer (citizen).
Government-to-Business (G2B)
Government-to-Business (G2B) is the online non-commercial interaction between local and central government and the commercial business sector, rather than private individuals (G2C), with the purpose of providing businesses information and advice on e-business best practices. .
Government-to-Government (G2G)
- Government-to-Government (G2G) is the online non-commercial interaction between Government organizations, departments, and authorities and other Government organizations, departments, and authorities. Its use is common in the developed countries, along with G2C, the online non-commercial interaction of local and central Government and private individuals, and G2B the online non-commercial interaction of local and central Government and the commercial business sector.
- G2G systems generally come in one of two types:
- Internal facing - joining up a single Governments departments, agencies, organizations and authorities.
- External facing - joining up multiple Governments IS systems.
- Government-to-Employees (G2E)
- Government-to-employees (G2E) is the online interactions through instantaneous communication tools between government units and their employees. G2E is one out of the four primary delivery models of e-Government.
- G2E is an effective way to provide E-learning to the employees, bring them together and to promote knowledge sharing among them. It also gives the employees possibility of accessing information in regard to compensation and benefit policies, training and learning opportunities and civil rights laws. G2E services also includes software for maintaining personnel information and records of employees.
- G2E is adopted in many countries including the United States, Hong Kong and New Zealand.
Within each of these interaction domains, four kinds of activities take place:
pushing information over the Internet, e.g.: regulatory services, general holidays, public hearing schedules, issue briefs, notifications, etc.
two-way communications between the agency and the citizen, a business, or another government agency. In this model, users can engage in dialogue with agencies and post problems, comments, or requests to the agency.
conducting transactions, e.g.: lodging tax returns, applying for services and grants.
governance, e.g.: To enable the citizen transition from passive information access to active citizen participation by:
1. Informing the citizen
2. Representing the citizen
3. Encouraging the citizen to vote
4. Consulting the citizen
5. Involving the citizen
